ADS-IP - Advanced Detection System (Induced Polarization)
The ADS-IP is a vertical land-scanning system based on the induced polarization (IP) method. It measures how an injected frequency pulse decays in the ground to characterize bulk density, wet density, porosity, permeability and salinity at depths from 150 to 1,250 metres - and outputs a drilling feasibility percentage.

How it works in the field

Connect the array
Link the host terminal to the 4-node IP switch with the multichannel cable.

Record the layers
Select the survey depth and record - all four channels capture the decay response of each vertical layer.

Get the verdict
The ADS software characterizes density, porosity, permeability and salinity per depth and reports drilling feasibility as a percentage.
